This morning, Hayden Laye, DFLA's Chapter Development Coordinator, testified in support of the Human Life Protection Act in South Carolina before the SC House Constitutional Laws Subcommittee.
South Carolinians have sent a clear message by voting out many individuals from both parties who stood against this same legislation back in 2024. Meanwhile, pro-life candidates, including both pro-life Democrats in the SC House, were re-elected with overwhelming support in both primary and general elections.

We are dedicated to tirelessly working on your behalf. Thank you for placing your trust in us. We had a busy January,, and there is much more to come!
Virginians, please contact your senator to oppose the Constitutional Amendment on abortion. We should prioritize resources and support for pregnant and parenting families rather than an amendment that could overturn parental consent.
Below is a #GivingTuesday2024 message from our executive director Kristen Day.
While national Democrats ran on abortion extremism and lost, pro-life Democrats ran on pragmatism and won.
In fact, 97% of our endorsed candidates won on November 5.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Democrats For Life of America!
A Democratic Party for Everyone — A New Way Forward
Democrats have lost over 1,000 state legislative seats in the past fifteen years.
It's time for a new way forward.
That's exactly what we're discussing with a distinguished group of pro-life Democrats at the DNC in Chicago
We can't wait to work with y'all! Let's get more #ProLifeDems elected from Massachusetts to Oregon and everywhere in between!
It's Kristen Day from Democrats for Life!
As I say in the video above, I've led this organization through thick and thin for 22 years because I believe in the importance of our mission and in the dignity of every human life from conception to natural death.
Our work is essential. We win elections. We pass legislation. And most importantly, we change human lives and our nation for the better.
But it's grueling work, and it isn't free. We only exist because of you.
So let me put it bluntly — we're in a financial bind.
To advance our mission of creating a more inclusive and just America, we must raise an additional $10,000 in grassroots donations before the end of the month.
There are only a few hours left, and we're still $6,630 short of our goal.
This money will help us win crucial ballot initiatives in New York, lead pro-life Democratic incumbents to victory in Connecticut, Kansas, Kentucky, and New Jersey, and lift up a new generation of elected leaders nationwide.
And here's the good news:
Every donation made until midnight will be matched by a long-time supporter.
Join our mission and support our work in shaping a brighter future for our party and — most importantly — our country: bit.ly/prolifedemocrats
It doesn't matter whether you can give $6.63, $66.30, $666.30, $6,630 or more — every bit helps.
There's no better time than now. Join us in this noble fight: bit.ly/prolifedemocrats
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you do.
BREAKING NEWS: We're poised to break our single-quarter grassroots fundraising record.
Will you give $5, $10, $25, $50, or more to help us get over the top by midnight?

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

We visited Rep Josh Gottheimer to ask him to support local pregnancy centers that provide essential items to financially insecure families. Instead of supporting us, he smeared us and said our press conference was about abortions bans or IVF. For the record: Our press conference was all about supporting families, with a DFLA board member even expressing his support for the representative’s work on childcare and complementing him. All we are asking is that he doesn’t shut down pregnancy centers. Let’s put the politics behind us and come together to provide for the families of New Jersey. What do you say Representative Gottheimer?
