God of Amazing Love,
You have called your people to remember your great works throughout the ages. You called the Israelites to remember how you freed them from captivity and gave them a home. At the last Supper, Christ broke the bread, poured the wine, and called us to eat and drink in remembrance of Him. We recall your great deeds since the founding of the Lamb Center 34 years ago.
On the 31st of May, we will celebrate our 10th anniversary at our Campbell Dr. location, which came after a long journey. On the Saturday of the Memorial Day Weekend, we closed at 12:30pm at 3220 Old Lee Highway and started our move. We were able to open our doors on Tuesday after Memorial Day.
We remember the start of our journey towards Beacon Landing and we can now see the windows being installed on this majestic building. We look forward to the day in December when the doors of Beacon Landing open and 54 of our most vulnerable will have a place to lay their heads at night. We trust it is your desire that all of our neighbors have housing.
