What's CASA's purpose? 🔍

Michelle Nichols, CASA volunteer, answered it perfectly: to keep the child’s best interests and needs at the center of every life-changing decision made on their behalf. 💙

Our volunteers help children access safety, stability, and permanency through thorough, dedicated advocacy by:

👩‍⚖️Making recommendations to the court
🏠Visiting children regularly
📄Collecting information from everyone involved in a child’s life
❤Ensuring their needs are heard and met

Every child deserves someone in their corner. 💙

Stat-urday calls for FY26 Stats! 💙

Thanks to your support, Fairfax CASA provided dedicated advocates to 360 abused and neglected children and served 216 families across Fairfax County.

That’s 360 children whose voices were heard, lives were impacted, and stories were changed. Whether you volunteered, donated, or helped spread the word, you helped make this impact possible.

Exciting news! ✨

Fairfax CASA has been selected as a 2026 Virginia Law Foundation grant recipient!💙

This generous grant will help ensure that children navigating the child welfare system continue to have a dedicated CASA by their side during one of the most critical times in their lives.

This year, the Virginia Law Foundation awarded $753,000 in grants to 34 Virginia nonprofits working to advance access to justice, the Rule of Law, and law-related education. We are incredibly honored to be a part of this year's incredible group of changemakers. 💙

CASA volunteers work with teachers and school administrators to identify a child’s needs, monitor their progress, and help ensure they receive the support they need to succeed. 💙

The truth is…youth in the child welfare system need someone they can count on.

Having a CASA by their side increases their chances of graduating high school, enrolling in Fostering Futures, and staying connected to a reliable adult in their community. 🎓✨

While Alice isn’t real, her story represents the realities many of our children and youth face – having to show up at school and navigate everyday challenges while their home life is falling apart.

Sometimes, just having someone you can turn to can be the hope a child or youth needs to get through those tough moments.
