The sidewalk is located on the south side of Route 123 from Great Falls Street to Anderson Road and provides 2400 linear feet of a varied width sidewalk that connects people in McLean to the McLean Metrorail station. The shared use path provides access for walkers and bicyclists. Other components of the project include curbs and gutters, crosswalks, curb ramps, storm pipes and structures and a retaining wall.
