James Mott Community Assistance Program (JMCAP) is a 501(c)(3) community based non-profit, partnership with Fairfax County Department of Housing and Community Development and SkillSource offering services to Fairfax County residents and families to achieve a self-sufficient lifestyle. JMCAP has been providing services to families to positively impact the entire community for over 30

years. All programs are free to qualified persons. What Areas We Serve:

JMCAP serves individuals and families primarily in western Fairfax County, Region 4 Human Services and the JMCAP Conservation District-Area 3:

In-area 22015 & 22039
Out-of-area 22015, 22030, 22031, 20120, 20121 & 20151

Our client population include:

* Single head of households
* The unemployed
* The underemployed
* Persons with mental/physical disabilities
* Seasonal workers
* The indigent
* 1,974 clients and 643 households received food bags once a week for 52 weeks
* 164 clients from were transported for grocery shopping, medical appointments and other necessary appointments
* 170 families received direct assistance toward payment of rent and utilities

Founded in 1996, The Victims' Rights Foundation (VRF) is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) Montgomery County, Maryland based volunteer group that performs volunteer support services on behalf of victims of violent crimes and attacks. The VRF org. is 26 years old. It has raised over $1M for victims of violent crimes since its inception. This org has raised funds solely from recurring donors, sponsorships, friends and family.
