WORK BEGINS MONDAY NIGHT ON INTERSECTION OF EDGEWOOD ROAD SW AND 76TH AVENUE SW
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – Work will launch Monday on intersection improvements at Edgewood Road SW and 76th Avenue SW.
The work will require temporary closures of Edgewood Road SW and 76th Avenue SW, depending on the work zone. To minimize daytime traffic impacts, construction will take place entirely during overnight hours. One lane of through traffic will be allowed, following the schedule noted below, and all lanes will fully reopen by 4:30 a.m. each morning.
Work will occur nightly from 7:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Sunday night through Thursday night. The project is expected to take six weeks to complete.
