Join us THIS FRIDAY, Nov 20 at Sherwood Community Center for a free seminar on THE IMPORTANCE OF MENTAL HEALTH.
Experiencing depression isnβt the same as being sad. Taking care of your mental health is as important as caring for physical conditions. Depression can actually worsen physical health conditions. Knowing the warning signs of depression can make a really difference in someoneβs quality of life.
Due to Covid restrictions, the seminar is restricted to 25 attendees. Attendees must pre-register at https://apm.activecommunities.com/fairfaxcityrecdept/Activity_Search/13726

On October 31, City of Fairfax Police Department and the Fairfax City Parks and Recreation joined forces for the first-ever Trick or Treat Trail in Fairfax History, allowing families to βtrick or treatβ safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dressed in their Halloween best, participants drove through a special trail adjacent to the city police station, and police and parks personnel handed out candy and other special goodies to 512 βboosβ and βghouls.β
I donβt know about you but we are already having Halloween withdrawals...and not just from the candy!
We saw so many awesome costumes at the Drive-Thru Trick or Treat Trail last weekend and had so much fun handing out goodies. Over 500 vehicles came by in 3 hours! Thank you everyone for making this such a big first hit! ππ«π¬
