My new book just came out -- "Let Freedom Ring ... Again: Can Self-Evident Truths Save America from Further Decline?"
While I believe that America's best days can be in our future, my optimism is not born of some unrealistic view that without effort everything will always work out for the better. Rather, my optimism comes from the belief that even when things are going wrong, we can change them and we can return our nation to the paths of greatness. Simply stated, we determine which road we will travel, and if we choose wisely, we will arrive at a great destination. And if we choose poorly, our paths will lead us to political bo***ge and misery. Right now, our nation is headed down the wrong path. But that doesn’t mean we cannot change our direction. So this book’s purpose is to help us choose wisely! We can embrace the freedoms and principles and responsibilities that made America a land of opportunity and a bastion for freedom. Or we can follow the vocal crowd and misuse the power of government to impose the latest political fads, which will continue to erode America’s foundations and eventually send us to ruin.
I will work tirelessly to encourage Americans to stand up for the principles of America’s founding and for our great national mission statement -- “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” -- and to return our great nation to civic decency and virtue, and to let freedom ring, again!
