This morning, WJLA-TV joined us at Food for Others to shed light on challenges that lie ahead due to USDA budget cuts. These reductions directly impact the availability of emergency food for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

When asked, Executive Director Deb Haynes shared, "...we are deeply concerned and closely monitoring what’s ahead. Last year, we served more than 64,000 individuals, with 20% of the food we provided coming from the USDA’s Emergency Food Access [Assistance] Program..."

Truly amazing! We are incredibly grateful to the Beech Tree Elementary School team and students for partnering with Cereal4All to collect 471 boxes of cereal for our neighbors in need.
