Immediate fosters or adopters are needed! Fairfax Animal Control is at DOUBLE its capacity. Difficult decisions are going to have to be made quickly if nobody steps up to help.

These posts are not made lightly. It’s important to remember that this crisis, as well as every animal related issue impacting the Town of Fairfax is caused due to the irresponsibility of our neighbors.

Keep your pets contained. Spay and neuter your pets. Keep your animals’ vaccines up to date. These are the basic responsibilities for every pet owner. If you need assistance with these necessities, reach out! Help is available!

What is going on, Fairfax? So many dogs at large found in the past three days. The shelter is now at DOUBLE its capacity. Keeping your dogs secured is your responsibility and is the number one way to keep them safe.

‼️ Adopt Re*****on ‼️

Re*****on has been with Fairfax Animal Control for 30 days now without a single person coming to meet him. The shelter is not a long term solution for adoptable dogs, and a foster or adopter must be found for him soon.

Re*****on is a good boy! He is a 1-2 year old Great Pyrenees mix that weighs about 70 pounds. Re*****on is curious about meeting new people, but after a couple minutes and a few treats, he is ready to be your new best friend.

Re*****on deserves a great home and a second chance. If you are interested in meeting Re*****on and being his hero, please contact 918-642-3611.

Our partner, SPACAR Animal Advocates of OK, pulled the puppy we found as a stray into their rescue. This guy needs lots of help, and we are grateful that they stepped up to the plate.
