UPDATE!!!

🚨 ROAD WORK NOTICE: 3rd AVENUE NORTH 🚨

Sweeping and repairs are complete but the public works department is still working on 3rd Ave North. Beginning Tuesday, August 18, 2026, the Public Works Department will be chip sealing over the repairs made on 3rd Avenue North in its entirety.

To ensure a safe work environment for our crew, please note the following temporary restrictions:
* No Parking: Monday - Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
* Alternate Routes: Please avoid 3rd Avenue North and plan an
alternate route during work hours.

Tow-Away Zone: Any vehicles not removed from the affected street during these hours will be towed at the owner's expense.

Good morning Fairfield!

We just heard from Republic Services and they will not be able to complete garbage pickup today. They will be back tomorrow, August 12th, to complete garbage pickup. They have also called each resident in town to inform of the delayed service.
