🎓 Senior Spotlight: Bailey Headley 🎓

Join us in celebrating Bailey Headley, a proud senior from the Van Buren Community School District!

Bailey is an active member of the Ceniteers 4-H Club, where she has developed valuable skills and friendships through her involvement.

She has also stayed highly engaged in school activities, participating in Leo Club, FFA, Silver Cord, Mock Trial (MOC), and Cheer.

After high school, Bailey plans to attend Indian Hills Community College to earn her Associate’s degree in Education. She has big goals for the future and hopes to one day open her own daycare!

We are so proud of Bailey’s dedication, leadership, and ambition, and we can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in the years ahead!

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Brock Atwood 🎓

Join us in celebrating Brock Atwood, a proud member of the Fairfield High School Class of 2026!

Brock has been an active member of the Ceniteers 4-H Club since 2018, where he has shown both swine and sheep over the years. He has also given back to his club by helping repair and rebuild the grandstand ticket booth, demonstrating his commitment to service and leadership.

Brock enjoys participating in the fair parade each year, where he drives his antique tractor, continuing a fun and meaningful tradition. In addition, he is a member of FFA, further showcasing his dedication to agriculture.

We are proud of Brock’s hard work, involvement, and contributions to his community, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for him!

🎡✨ No Time Like Fair Time! ✨🎡

Get ready for the 2026 Greater Jefferson County Fair and all the fun happening this year! 🇺🇸🎉

We are excited to celebrate America 250 with red, white, and blue themed activities throughout the fair!

Be sure to check out everything going on:

🧵 Club Challenge (Activity Building)
4-H Clubs will create wooden quilt squares and Clover Kids will plant flower pots. These items will be part of a silent auction running all fair long and closing Sunday at 5 PM.
👉 Proceeds support our local clubs and Clover Kids programs—come bid and show your support!

🎉 Fair Parade – Monday, June 22
📍 Line-up at 6 PM (Fairfield High School)
🚜 Parade starts at 7 PM
All clubs and members are welcome to join!

US America 250 Celebration (Activity Building)
Free daily make-and-take crafts and community service projects for all ages—stop in each day for something new!

🐄 Farm to Fair (1–5 PM daily)
Outside the Activity Building, enjoy hands-on learning, featured animals, and fun scavenger hunts!

🏅 Ag Olympics – Saturday, June 27 @ 6 PM
Join the fun in the Show Arena! Open to Clover Kids, 4-H, and FFA members—sign up ahead of time for a chance to win prizes!

💃Line Dancing
Immediately following Ag Olympics—free and open to everyone!

PLASTIC BOTTLES NEEDED

We are in need of empty, clean 1 and 2 liter pop bottles for a hydroponics workshop at the library later this summer 🌱📚

If you have some you would be willing to donate, please drop these off at the Extension Office during business hours 🏢

We need a total of 75 bottles 🙌♻️

Join us in celebrating Clae Cass, a proud member of the Fairfield High School Class of 2026!

Clae has been an active member of the Future Leaders 4-H Club, where he has gained valuable experiences and skills through his involvement in 4-H.

In addition, he has participated in Cross Country, Track, and FFA, showing dedication both in athletics and leadership activities.
After graduation, Clae plans to attend Southeastern Community College, where he will major in Business.

We are proud of Clae’s hard work and accomplishments and are excited to see all he achieves in the future!

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Hailey Pedrick 🎓

Join us in celebrating Hailey Pedrick, a proud member of the Pekin High School Class of 2026!

Hailey has been actively involved in her community as a member of the Packwood Trojans 4-H Club, where she has built valuable skills and connections.

She has also been a dedicated member of both the Pekin FFA Chapter and the Southeast Iowa FFA, showing her strong commitment to agricultural education and leadership.

In addition to her 4-H and FFA involvement, Hailey has stayed busy through her participation in Student Council, Girls Wrestling, Cross Country, Track, and the National Honor Society.

We are so proud of Hailey’s hard work, dedication, and accomplishments throughout her high school career and wish her all the best in the future!
