🗳️ IMPORTANT VOTING INFO.: This year, Connecticut has introduced early voting, and we want to make sure every eligible voter knows how to take advantage of this opportunity. See graphic for important voting information from the Office of the Connecticut Secretary of the State. Early voting for the Presidential Election will be held at 2 locations here in Fairfield. You may vote at either location: 1) Fairfield University Media Center [use the Barlow Rd. entrance and proceed to the first building on the left where there will be reserved parking]. 2) Old Town Hall 2nd Floor Conference Room - 611 Old Post Road. Early voting hours at both locations are:
🗳️ Monday October 21 to Monday, October 28, 10am to 6pm.
🗳️ Tuesday October 29, extended hours from 8am to 8pm.
🗳️ Wednesday October 30, 10am – 6pm.
🗳️ Thursday October 31, extended hours from 8am to 8pm.
🗳️ Friday November 1 to Sunday November 3, 10am – 6pm

Tomorrow, the Board of Finance will meet at 7:30 p.m. for a budget follow-up meeting, where it will discuss some outstanding questions on the Town & Board of Ed budgets. What an incredible journey this election season has been! We are thrilled to share that Myke, Melissa, and Cindy Waldron were officially sworn in yesterday and are looking forward to serving Fairfield's district 3 on the RTM. We thank all the voters who turned out to shape the course of our community's future. We are honored and humbled by your trust and look forward to making a positive impact. We also want to shine a spotlight on our fellow running mate, Cindy Wapnitsky. While Cindy was not successful in her race, her dedication, hard work, and unwavering support played a pivotal role in securing all of our victories. She is a true testament to the slogan “Together We’re Better.” Thank you, Cindy!

2023 SWEARING IN: Please join us at 7pm TOMORROW for the Town of Fairfield’s official Swearing in Ceremony for all newly-elected local officials, including Bill Ge**er for First Selectman, Christine Vitale for Selectman, and members of the Board of Finance, Board of Education, Representative Town Meeting (RTM), Town Plan and Zoning Commission, and more. Governor Ned Lamont will administer the oath of office to First Selectman-elect Ge**er, Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz will administer the oath to Selectman-elect Vitale, and other state and local officials will be in attendance at this special event filled with music, community, and light refreshments following the ceremony. ALL ARE WELCOME!
