NorCal Milsim Escape Reality, Experience Realism. -NorCal MilSim When we say 'MILSIM' - we mean this:

1. Squads. Fire teams make up squads. Squads have a leader. Command. Skills.

A Squad leader talks to other SL to coordinate movement.

2. We don't rely on an 'Admin' to tell us what to do and when to do it. Based on 'enough' rules and clear goals/objectives, players can organize and mange themselves.

3. Realistic limits. Part of the 'enough' rules idea. No, you can't carry thousands of rounds of ammo. We think it's lame when we watch movies like that; why play like th

at? Hit rules that wipe out your team - getting killed should result in a LOSS! lol. 2 minute, die-in-place respawn essentially makes every small unit an infinite supply of enemy.

4. Players who know how to aim their weapons. Who can communicate clearly. Who can develop intel and make a plan. Who can be quiet and concealed yet can also fire and maneuver effectively. Players who take on a role and follow-through on it. We don't (necessarily) mean this:

1. 100% accurate 'kit'. We see people achieving this but they can't work in a team...

2. Anything that resembles a video game

3. A 'Scenario' - as in the 'storyline' that most events have that is really not connected to what the players are doing at all.
