With the nice weather finally here, training has moved outside. This week, crews continued pump training and worked with the hydrant assist valve to sharpen their skills and stay ready to serve the community.

This past week, students trained in search and rescue techniques and firefighter survival skills. We’re proud of the hard work and dedication these students are showing through hands-on training as they prepare to better serve their community.

Today’s crews have been busy. We started the day in Winslow providing station coverage while they helped with a large fire. This afternoon, we responded to a significant woods fire.

Our crews are currently responding to a mutual aid call for a biomass fire. We’d like to thank Waterville Fire for providing station coverage during this time. 🚒
