📚 We did it, and then some! 🎉

Our 2026 Summer Reading Challenge goal was 300,000 minutes, and our incredible reading community logged an amazing 492,509 minutes. That’s 192,509 minutes beyond our goal!

Thank you to every reader who participated, from our youngest book lovers to our adult readers. Your enthusiasm made this summer one for the books!

Grand Prize winners have already been emailed with instructions on how to redeem their prizes (so check those spam folders.) We will also be displaying the winning initials on our digital bulletin behind the circulation desk.

Congratulations to our winners and to everyone who helped us surpass our goal!

🌞📚 July Summer Reading at Mitchell Memorial Library! 📚🌞

Summer Reading continues all month long with storytimes, Baby Bounce, Family STEAM activities, and plenty of fun for all ages!

Join us for:
🎶 Family Storytime
👶 Baby Bounce
🎨 Family STEAM
📖 Themed activities including rock painting, origami frogs, Ozo Bots, Giant Candyland, and more!

🌟 The first day of Summer Reading is June 10th, so be sure to stop by for our Summer Reading Kickoff Event! Event starts at 4:30 and ends at 6pm. We hope to see you all here!

🌟 The last day of Summer Reading is July 31st, so be sure to stop by, log your reading, and finish strong! Grand Prizes are for the top reader in each category.
