🚨 Swimming Advisory – Waterworks Park Beach 🚨
Routine water testing at Waterworks Park Beach found E. coli levels above the state's recommended threshold for swimming.

A follow-up water sample will be collected on June 15, 2026, and results will be shared once they become available.

A special thank you to Chamber Ambassador, Kristen Civin and the Practice Management team at Cambridge for donating their time, supplies, and generosity to support the Birthday Bag program at The Lord's Cupboard.

As part of their annual food drive, the Cambridge Practice Management team assembled 20 Birthday Bags that will be donated at the end of June. Each bag contains cake-making supplies and party essentials to help local families celebrate a child’s birthday, even when budgets are stretched thin.

After learning about the Birthday Bag program, Chamber Ambassadors began encouraging local businesses and organizations to support the effort. Thanks to Kristen Civin for bringing the idea to the Cambridge Practice Management team, who generously donated supplies and assembled 20 Birthday Bags to help local children celebrate their special day. 🎂💙

As the sky turned moody and the storm rolled in, something electric was happening on the Square… ⚡

That unmistakable pink glow pouring out of 52 S Main St wasn’t just a light—it was a beckoning. Like Ralphie pressed up against the window, completely mesmerized, you couldn’t help but stop, stare… and feel like you were missing out on something unforgettable.

✨ Foxy Curations is that kind of magic.

It’s bold. It’s unexpected. It’s the kind of place that makes you do a double take and then pull the door open because you just have to see more. Every piece inside feels like a discovery—something you didn’t know you needed until that exact moment.

And trust us… once you step inside, you’ll get it.

Don’t be the one hearing about it later.
Don’t just drive by and wonder.
👉 Go. Look. Experience it.

Because while the storm may pass… that glow? It’s calling your name. 💖

Look who we found! Our first high school Leadership Fairfield graduate. We are so proud of you Lexi!! Keep up the great work!

The Jefferson County Farm Bureau is proud to recognize Alexis “Lexi” Megrath, a senior at Fairfield High School, as one of this year’s Jefferson County Farm Bureau Scholarship recipients. Lexi is the daughter of Paul and Amy Megrath and has demonstrated exceptional academic dedication, strong leadership abilities, and a deep commitment to agriculture and her community throughout her high school career.

Lexi plans to attend Mount Mercy University, where she will major in Marketing. During high school, she was actively involved in a wide range of extracurricular activities, including Dance and Drill, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Marching Band, Concert Band, and Key Club. She has also held several leadership roles, serving as Dance and Drill Captain, Key Club Treasurer, Color Guard Captain, and overseeing FBLA membership.

Agriculture plays an important role in Lexi’s life, as her family owns a multi-generational farm. “Agriculture is so important because not only does it keep family farms going, but it provides jobs and opportunities for people of all ages,” Lexi shared. After completing her college education, Lexi plans to return to Fairfield, a community she has truly enjoyed growing up in. Her goal is to work for the city or the local chamber of commerce, helping to promote and share information about the community. While attending college, Lexi plans to continue dancing at the collegiate level and hopes to return home to coach the high school dance team and teach at a local studio.

The Jefferson County Farm Bureau congratulates Lexi on this achievement and wishes her continued success in her educational pursuits and future career.
