National Police Week 2026 begins May 10th.

Across our nation, this week is a time of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance.

We honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their names, their stories, and their legacy live on, not only within their departments, but in the communities they gave everything to protect. They will never be forgotten.

We also stand in appreciation of those who continue to serve today. Policing is more than a profession, it is a calling marked by courage, sacrifice, and a commitment to others, often in the most difficult moments. Day and night, you step forward so others can feel safe.

To the families who share in this sacrifice, your strength does not go unnoticed. Your support makes this service possible, and this week, we honor you as well.

During National Police Week, we invite our community to come together to remember, to reflect, and to show appreciation. Take a moment to thank an officer, honor a fallen hero, and recognize the service behind the badge.

We had a blast today at the Rotary Spring Festival! 🌷🚓

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello, we always enjoy spending time with our community.

And yes… Sergeant Riegel did volunteer for the dunk tank. What he may not have realized is that it would quickly become the most popular spot at the festival. The line just kept getting longer… and longer… and longer.

We lost track of how many times he got dunked, but let’s just say this town has some seriously good aim!

Thanks again for making it such a fun day!
