Tuesday Night means Training Night

Earlier tonight, the Fairfield Community Fire Company conducted its weekly training session. This week, members focused on pulling and reloading fire hoses. This training involved removing folded fire hose from the storage area of a fire engine and stretching it toward a simulated fire scene. Placing the hose in a straight, orderly line on the ground helps prevent kinks before water is supplied. Crews then practiced reloading the hoses properly, ensuring they are ready for the next emergency.

This exercise is one of the essential hands-on skills in fire service training. It requires strength, coordination, and quick action so that firefighters can deploy water efficiently upon arrival.

The Fairfield Community Fire Company welcomes new volunteers. Those interested in joining can fill out an application online. Our Membership Chairman will reach out to guide applicants through the next steps. UPDATE - 2026 Outdoor Cash Event

All the winners for the 2026 Outdoor Cash Event have been contacted and are making arrangements to pick up their prizes. We once again want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting this event.

2026 Outdoor Cash Event - We Thank You

The 2026 Outdoor Cash Event is now over and we want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting us. The weather couldn't have been better. The food was great, the drinks were cold and everyone seemed to have a fun time.

We once again want to thank our sponsors for their support and assistance. And finally we want to thank our members. An event like this wouldn't be possible without them. if you attended yesterday you saw them in the kitchen, working the gate, selling ticket jars, announcing winners, setting up and tearing down. We can't thank them all enough for volunteering their time and helping our community.

Today Is The Day! FCFC 2026 Outdoor Cash Event

Good morning! By all accounts today is going to be a beautiful day for the Outdoor Cash Event. The gates open at 10:00 AM. You can either park in the parking lot or in the grass field on the outside of the fencing.

The early bird food this morning will be sausage sandwiches (while they last) with peppers, onions and sauce. At noon until 2 PM we will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans and French fries. Beverages available all day long during the event.

As a reminder, tickets will be available from 10:00 AM until Noon. Once the drawing starts no other tickets will be available. Come on out, enjoy the food, drink and have fun and possibly win some money!

2026 Outdoor Cash Event Tickets On Sale Tonight At Fire Department - 6:30PM till 7:30 PM

We will be selling Outdoor Event tickets tonight from 6:30 PM till 7:30 PM in front of the Fire Department. If you don't have yours yet just come on by and pick some up. Winners need not be present to win! Ticket are $30.00 each and contain 2 random numbers that could win numerous times throughout the day. See attached flyer for additional information.

Tickets will be available at the door on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. When the drawing starts at Noon, no other tickets will be available.

ARE YOU READY? The 2026 Outdoor Cash Event is almost here........

We're getting ready for the 2026 Outdoor Cash Event. The fencing is up, supplies have been received and we have some minor things to take care of before gates open at 10:00 AM on Saturday.

If you need tickets we will be selling on Friday evening from 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM. Stop by and get your tickets then. We will also be selling tickets at the gate on Saturday morning but once the drawings start no more tickets will be available.

if you purchased tickets and are planning on coming Saturday we have had several calls about setting up tents on Friday evening. We will allow tents to be set up after 7:00 PM on Friday night. Please note the Fairfield Community Fire Company will not be responsible for any items left overnight on Friday evening.

2026 Outdoor Cash Event - GOT TICKETS?

On Friday evening we will be at the Fire Department from 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM selling tickets to the 2026 Outdoor Cash Event. We are located at 106 Steelman Street in Fairfield. Do you have your tickets? Do you need tickets? Come on by Friday nights and pick some up. If not, you can also purchase them using Venmo.

Just scan the VENMO QR code and it will take you to our FCFC Account. Please include the following information for each ticket purchased using this pay platform.

Name, address & phone number. Once we receive payment we will make contact and arrange for ticket pickup.

You can also call our office number at (717) 642-8842, extension 2. If no one answers please leave a message and we will return your call.

Tickets are $30.00 per person and each ticket has 2 random numbers that could possibly win multiple times throughout the day.
At 4:00 PM we’ll spin and announce the final number for the $5,000.00 Jackpot ($6,000.00 possible if claimed within 5 minutes).

Open House at BPG USA - Fairfield

Earlier tonight two members of the Fairfield Community Fire Company attended the Open House at the BPG-USA Fairfield Plant on North Miller Street in Fairfield. This year BPG-USA Fairfield is celebrating their 50th Anniversary in our community.

Company 2 was on hand with one of our Fire Trucks so attendees could come by, ask questions and look at the equipment.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see us.
