Here is a little nugget from the past! We are accepting bids for this 1925 Nebraska Husker program! Stop by the library and take a look - make a bid! All proceeds will go toward the renovation of the library! Take a piece of husker history home and help out your local library!

The Summer Reading Program was FANTASTIC with our study of dinosaurs and celebrating our country! There were over 50 kids in the program this year, and 17 volunteers that helped with their hands and their hearts!
THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!
A special "thanks" to the Friends of the Library and the Nebraska Library Commission for grants \ funds that helped sponsor the program and enable us to offer a Family Night this year with a fun dinosaur program!

Browse the library on Saturday morning! Visit the book sale in the basement or check out a book from the library!

STOP BY THE LIBRARY DURING THE GARAGE SALES! We have several items you may be interested in!
1 - 4 pm
BINGO at the Auditorium! This popular event is back with some great prizes again this year! Treats will also be served by the Fairfield Community Church!
All proceeds from these events will help fund renovations at the Fairfield Library! We have big plans and great things going on .... thank you for your support!

We are thankful! We rely on donations and grants to make improvements to the library. We received a new laptop computer for our main desk! 🤓

The Nebraska Library Commission recently awarded Library Improvement Grants for 2026 totaling $31,000 to sixteen Nebraska public libraries.

August 15th City Garage Sales ..... visit the LIBRARY BASEMENT
We will have books, bookshelves, Fairfield memorabilia - buttons, coins, postcards, plates, quilts, and more! Some items are priced, and some are available for a donation to the renovation of the library.
Visit the LIBRARY (UPSTAIRS) to view some Fairfield photos, and leave a "post-it" if you recognize what & where these items were. Gathering this info will assist in organizing items for future use at the library - think historical and ancestry!

TRIPLE F @ the LIBRARY .... COME & CHECK IT OUT!
We will be open during the City Garage Sales (7:00 am - 1:00 pm). We have items in the basement for sale or donation that will help us fund renovations to the library. Some items in the basement will be moved to the Clay County museum, and some will be for sale.
Historical items will also be on display (postcards, coins, buttons) for a donation; family photos can be picked up and taken home.
