Thanks to California Association of Area Agencies on Aging - C4A for visiting our wonderful community partner, Providence Community Health Foundation Napa Valley!

Great spending time at Providence Community Health Napa Valley with Brian Rutledge, PhD () and Liz Fuller from the Assembly Committee on Aging and Long-Term Care.

Providence Community/Collabria is a great example of a No Wrong Door approach, bringing services like PACE, Adult Day Health Care, Information & Assistance, Enhanced Case Management, and Caregiver Support together under one roof. The staff we met with were passionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to the people they serve and the community.

Technology scams can happen to anyone, but older adults are frequently targeted by fraudsters using urgency, fear and confusion to steal money or personal information.

This Elder Abuse Awareness Day, encourage the older adults in your life to slow down, verify suspicious messages and ask for help when something doesn’t feel right.

The Community Innovation center offers different types of support such as mental health topics, mindfulness exercise, community resources, and more. Each week there is a different topic that is covered that helps live a better life. Meetings are held every Monday from 12:30pm – 1:30pm in Napa County.
