Today, we attended the SFC Charles A. Judge Jr Memorial Stand Down to support homeless and at-risk veterans.

Now, more than ever, veterans need our support and BattleBetty Foundation is part of a community answering the call for our sisters & brothers-in-arms.

: Yesterday, BattleBetty Foundation showed up, along with other local resources organizations, to provide needed items for our unhoused community members. We shared a meal, provided socks/coats/gloves, and held a candlelight vigil.

: Tomorrow evening, join BattleBetty Foundation, and other community agencies, as we support those in need at the annual Homeless Awareness Event, taking place on November 20th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Barnet Park.

This event will include:

*Warm meal
*Agency fair to provide resources to unhoused individuals and those in need
*A candlelight vigil

Lady Veterans Connect, located in Wi******er KY, is offering women veterans in need a place to stay, free of charge, while they figure out next steps.

Denny’s will be serving FREE pancakes and sausage to the community beginning at 9 am -2 pm Monday, September 30 at the Denny’s corporate office -203 East Main Street near the Plaza. Drive up or walk up service.
