Exciting Announcement Coming May 1st!

At GMEC-EMT, our mission has always been centered around preparing communities for emergencies and saving lives when seconds matter most.

Beginning May 1st, we’ll be launching a new partnership with another organization to help expand access to Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in communities across the region.

Through this initiative, we’ll be working together to sponsor and donate AEDs to organizations and locations that could benefit from having this lifesaving equipment readily available.

We’re asking for the community’s help identifying where these AEDs could make the biggest impact.

Know a location that should have an AED?

We’re looking for recommendations for places such as:
• Community centers
• Youth sports fields and recreation facilities
• Non-profit organizations
• Churches and places of worship
• Small businesses
• Public gathering spaces

If you know a location that could benefit from an AED, drop it in the comments or send us or Keenan Martin a message.

When sudden cardiac arrest happens, early CPR and rapid access to an AED can save a life.

We’ve been quietly building something behind the scenes.

While GMEC has proudly served the Metro Boston area with CPR and safety training for years, we’re now preparing to expand our Safety Division’s first aid and workplace safety supply services across the region.

Our goal has always been simple:
Help organizations be prepared before an emergency happens.

GMEC-EMT is expanding our Safety Division and looking for a motivated sales representative to help grow our First Aid, CPR/AED training, and workplace safety programs across Bristol, Plymouth, and Barnstable Counties.

This week we made a trip up to Middlesex, Vermont after a company working in rock crushing and aggregate production reached out needing immediate First Aid/CPR/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens training for their crew.

When you’re working around heavy equipment, crushing operations, and physically demanding job sites, safety can’t be an afterthought. The ability for coworkers to recognize an emergency, control bleeding, perform CPR, or properly handle a potential bloodborne exposure can make a real difference in those first critical minutes.

We’re always proud to support the hardworking men and women who keep infrastructure projects moving across New England. Making sure crews have the skills and confidence to respond when something goes wrong is one of the most important investments any workplace can make.

February was a busy month at GMEC-EMT!

Our team had the opportunity to train and support organizations across the region with lifesaving skills and workplace safety programs.

In February alone we delivered:

• 49 First Aid/CPR/AED Training Courses
• 36 Bleeding & Hemorrhage Control Trainings
• 25 Fire Extinguisher Trainings
• 19 Respirator Fit Testing Sessions
• 1 Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Course

That’s 130 safety trainings completed in just one month, helping hundreds of individuals gain the knowledge and confidence to respond when emergencies happen.

We’re grateful to the businesses, municipalities, and organizations that trust GMEC-EMT to help keep their teams prepared.
