Congratulations to Olivia’s Restaurant Fairhaven on being approved for outdoor seating!!

In 2024, our committee worked with Town officials to create an outdoor seating permit policy, which was approved unanimously by the Fairhaven Select Board.

Olivia's joins their neighbor, The Ice Cream Cottage, as the second local business to take advantage of this policy.

Interested in creating outdoor seating for your business? Contact Town Hall or reach out to our committee for guidance and support.

Very exciting improvement coming to the Bike Path!!
The curb on David Drown is being moved out, so the path will have a nice buffer there.

Thanks Fairhaven Public Works for making this happen!

🚲 🚧 Fairhaven Rail Trail / Bicycle Path Project beginning Monday, May 4th.

The plan is to start at the Mattapoisett Town line and work towards the Center of Town. Portions of the path will be temporarily closed while they work; signage will be posted accordingly. Some sections will be left as gravel for a short period of time before paving large segments.
