Here are the beach water test results for June 17 - June 24.

The beach sampling from 6/16/2026 showed an exceedance of coliform bacteria at Manhattan Avenue beach. Since then, there has been tidal flushing. However, swimming is closed until another beach water test can be performed.

Please do not intrude on private beaches Knollmere and Sandy.

The Bristol County Mosquito Control Project (BCMCP) will begin accepting residential spray requests for adult mosquito control starting Monday, June 1, 2026.

Spraying is expected to begin on or after June 8, 2026, between the hours of 2:00 AM and sunrise. Please note: temperatures must remain above 55°F during those hours for spraying to occur, so weather-related delays are common in June.

Please be aware of this deadly avian disease. While humans and non-avian pets cannot contract it, birds that are affected will be terminally affected.
