Author Terri Lynn Thompson offered several tips to the Path to Peace Writers Connect Group recently. They covered her writing discipline and her marketing steps.
In the picture below, she and Connect Group facilitator Eglaide Seiber hold up copies of her two most recent novels: Story Magic and The Shadow Side. Both books are available on Amazon and at other sites.

At their next gathering, participants will be encouraged (but not required) to read 500-word excerpts of their own works. Fiction, Poetry, Inspirational, Technical, Journalistic -- any genre is welcome.
Date: Tuesday August 11 at 3:30 at Words Alive church in Robertsdale: 22505 Racine Street.
Might be best to put it on your calendar now.

The Baldwin County Path to Peace Photography Connect Group will review the basics of f/stops and shutter speeds for newer members at its next meeting in July. After a formal presentation, experienced members will tutor the less-experienced in small groups. The next meeting is July 14 at 5:30 pm.
In future meetings they plan to take pictures of the Milky Way and practice shooting during the Blue Hour.
Path to Peace facilitates formation of multi-race personal relationships in connect groups built around shared interests.

Please note the time changed from 10:15 to 3:15 pm.
The topic continues: Immigration and Politics -- and the production of a document that serves as a guide for policy. It's interesting how much unanimity there is when partisans aren't stirring the pot.

The ACT-II/Mills-Churches-Community Organization collected a list of significant drainage problems in a meeting this week between the community and Foley officials.
The city is already planning several changes brought on by sidewalk and new community park projects.
Work on the park will begin in the next couple weeks. The city is expected to invite bids on the sidewalk project this month.
