NOTICE:

Updated Speed Zones in Post Mills

Friday morning, State of Vermont employees braved the early heat to update the speed signs throughout the village of Post Mills. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the new speed zones.

These changes were made following requests from multiple neighbors and through coordination between the Selectboard and the State of Vermont Traffic Committee. While the adjustments are minimal, they will significantly improve safety for motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians, and the neighborhood as a whole.

The Thetford Police Department respectfully asks for everyone’s cooperation in observing the updated limits. If you have any questions, please reach out.

Thank you for helping keep our community safe.

Good morning,

Many members of the community have my work cellphone number. The cellphone is not for reporting criminal activity currently ongoing or past tense. All activity occurring criminally or potentially violent activity should be reported to 911 immediately!

Any past tense criminal activity should be reported directly to my dispatch center and not the cellphone.

You can reach Hanover Dispatch by dialing.

(603)643-2222 or (802)333-4363 ext. 6

You're cooperating in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
