Thank you to Eric & Nicole Palmer for being such incredible advocates for first responders—not only here in Robeson County and surrounding counties, but throughout the entire state and wherever else they are needed. Your dedication, support, and willingness to stand behind those who serve means more than you know! If you’re in the emergency response field, these are your guys to contact! Their story is awesome & they are a living, breathing, walking testimony!

A special thank you to Mrs. Crystal Locklear-McGirt for coming and sharing your story with us and reminding us that it is okay to not be okay! ❤️

PTSD/PTSI awareness and support are so important throughout the first responder community. Being a first responder goes far beyond answering a call and going home. Sometimes those calls come home with us. The sights, sounds, emotions, and experiences can stay with us long after the shift is over.

It is okay to struggle. It is okay to talk. It is okay to ask for help. And it is okay to need a buddy to lean on.@

Let’s continue to look out for one another, check on our brothers and sisters, and break the stigma surrounding mental health in the first responder community. You are never alone. 💙

Thank you to everyone who continues to support those who run toward the emergencies when others are running away. 🚒🚑🚓❤️

🔥 Happy National Volunteer Firefighter Day! 🚒

Today, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible men and women who volunteer their time, sacrifice their nights, weekends, holidays, and time with their families to serve their communities.

To our Station 11 firefighters — thank you for answering the call, showing up when others are running away, and always being willing to lend a helping hand. Your dedication, courage, and commitment do not go unnoticed. ❤️‍🔥

And to every volunteer firefighter across our community, state, and beyond — thank you for everything you do. You may volunteer your time, but the impact you make is priceless.

No matter the time. No matter the weather. No matter the call — you answer.

From all of us at Station 11, THANK YOU for your service, sacrifice, and dedication! 🧑‍🚒🚒❤️

Happy National Volunteer Firefighter Day!
🔥 Proud to serve. Honored to volunteer. 🔥

It was hot, humid, and demanding, but when our communities needed us, everyone came together, worked as a team, and got the job done. We are incredibly grateful for the teamwork, dedication, and willingness to serve shown by each department and agency.
