Some weather to keep an eye on. stay safe everyone.

From the National Weather Service:

Good Morning,
Confidence is increasing for an active stretch of weather starting Wednesday evening and lasting through Friday.

Multiple rounds of showers and storms will bring well-needed rain to much of the region. Generally around 1" of rain is expected for most areas, though it highly variable depending on where storms move through. It is likely that some locations will exceed 1" where storms persist for several hours, and some areas could see well below an inch if storms avoid your area.

A few storms have the potential to become strong to severe, especially Wednesday evening across western Minnesota. The severe risk extends east on Thursday, though confidence is low on the extent and timing of severe storms due to round of storms Wednesday night.

🚨 SCAM ALERT - PLEASE SHARE 🚨

We’ve been made aware of a fraudulent “Final Enforcement Notice” circulating that claims to be from the State of Minnesota / District Court regarding unpaid traffic violations.

⚠️ This notice is NOT legitimate. ⚠️

Here are some red flags to watch for:
• References to courts or locations that don’t match (example: Minnesota case with a Texas court address)
• Threatening language demanding immediate payment
• QR codes directing you to make a payment
• Claims that “no further notice will be issued” to pressure you into acting quickly
• Generic or inconsistent violation details

🚫 DO NOT scan the QR code or submit any payment.
🚫 DO NOT provide personal or financial information.

Unfortunately, scams like this are becoming more common and can look very convincing. When in doubt, always take a moment to verify before acting.

Stay safe and stay alert.
