Options Pregnancy Center

Options Pregnancy Center Options Pregnancy Center is a non-profit, faith-based organization offering no-cost pregnancy support without discrimination.

Each day in America, more than 3,000 women wake up believing abortion is the only realistic solution to an unplanned pregnancy. This tragic decision, not only is a human life snuffed out, but a woman's life is changed forever. We understand the unique dynamics of an unplanned pregnancy and we accept our responsibility...

To support one woman at a time - she needs someone who will listen to her co

ncerns, who will give her accurate information, and who will help support her throughout her pregnancy. To value her unborn child - on day 1, a baby's sex, hair and eye color are determined. By week 4 (when many pregnancies are confirmed), a baby's heart is pumping, and by week 16, a baby can hear his/her mother's heartbeat. To promote a culture of life - the overwhelming majority of all abortions are done as a means of birth control or to eliminate an unplanned pregnancy. Options Pregnancy Center exists to INFORM and EDUCATE the public about unplanned pregnancies, abortion, and the related sexual issues. Each day, more than 300 women across North America will make the decision to carry a pregnancy to term because of the support pregnancy centers provide.

We have a front row seat for the road work being done here on Prairie and Blue Earth Ave. We will continue to be open our regular hours throughout the remainder of this construction as long as we can. If this changes, we will post here to let you know.

For right now, if you need to get to us, you will need to come from the south and park on Prairie. Please use caution when walking to the building as they are tearing up the road and sidewalk.

Fortunately, we are in the first phase of this project. Unfortunately, we're going to be harder to reach. As soon as we see where parking makes most sense, we'll update you.

The Blue Earth Avenue project will start in Fairmont next week, on July 27. It includes the area from the roundabout at the start of Downtown Plaza to Highway 15. While at its core it's a mill and overlay, changes will include a reduction from four lanes to three, the addition of a two-way stop sign at the Park Street intersection and a mini roundabout at the Prairie Avenue intersection.

Good morning everyone! I hope you had a wonderful 4th.

If you have ever wanted to support our ministry but didn't know how, here's your chance. The options pregnancy center picnic is fast approaching (July 19th) and we are in need of volunteers. Do you love to grill? Do you enjoy helping people? Let us add you to our volunteer list.

If you aren't able to help with the picnic, we would love to have you volunteer at the Martin City Fair.

Please give us a call or respond to this post if you'd like to bless this great community through options.

Here is a reminder we recently received from our local licensed car seat rep.

To help keep everyone safe during daily commutes and summer travel, beginning May 11, running through May 31, law enforcement agencies across the state will be conducting a statewide seat belt enforcement and awareness campaign. While more than 95% of Minnesotans wear their seat belts, sadly, those who don’t buckle up make up nearly a third of all traffic fatalities. This is also for Car Seat Awareness.

Know the Law & Stay Safe

Adults: Minnesota law requires all drivers and passengers to wear seat belts. Ensure the belt is tight across your hips and the shoulder strap is across your chest – never tuck it under your arm or behind your back.

Children:
Under 2 years: Rear-facing car seats are the safest option.
Ages 2-7 years: Children should remain in a 5-point harness until they have outgrown the usage of the harness.
Ages 4–9: Use a belt-positioning booster seat until they pass the five-step test.
Under 13: Children should always sit in the back seat whenever possible.
The Golden Rule: If a child fits in more than one category, the child must be placed in the more protective category.

The Numbers

95.2%: The record-high percentage of Minnesotans wearing seat belts last year.
The gap: While usage is rising, it fell among young adults (16–29) and pickup truck users.
29: The number of unbelted traffic fatalities already recorded in Minnesota as of May 10 this year.
