Thank you Early Risers Kiwanis Club for inviting us to speak with you today!

A big thank you to Fairmont Fire Chief Kastning (20 yrs) and 2nd Lt. Sam Cress (10 yrs) for speaking to the Fairmont Early Risers Kiwanis Club today! 🚒

They shared updates on department operations, the importance of their twice-monthly training sessions, and the growing emphasis on mental health resources for first responders.

We were glad to hear the department is fully staffed with 32 dedicated firefighters (including one female firefighter!).

With October being Fire Safety Month, they are gearing up to host local 1st graders for fire station tours.

Thank you to Chief Kastning, Lt. Cress, and the entire Fairmont Fire Department for your service and commitment to our community! 👏
