✈Flight Club✈

Mr. Long is working to continue students' learning this summer by offering an outdoor experience flying RC airplanes!

During the school year, he teaches an elective to high school students that is all about aviation, as he is a certified private pilot!

Mr. Long is hosting his FLIGHT CLUB on Monday mornings. Join at the football field at 8:00 AM - Weather permitting!

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, the B***o Chess Club welcomes you!

Parents and Guardians, the chess club will be using www.chess.com as its playing platform. Accounts are free there, as well. After contacting Mr. Reyes, he will email you an invite to the Google Classroom page which includes a link to the club’s account on chess.com, requirements, and expectations.

WALL OF FAME UPDATE

We are excited to share that we received ten outstanding nominations for the South Park High School Wall of Fame. The selection committee met on June 2 and selected our first two Wall of Fame honorees: Jesse Kasper, Class of 2003, and Lindsey Greising, Class of 2004. We are proud to recognize them as the inaugural members of the South Park High School Wall of Fame.

Each year, two additional honorees will be selected for induction into the Wall of Fame. If you nominated a graduate who was not selected this year, I encourage you to nominate them again for future consideration. If you would like to nominate a graduate, the application form can be found on the Park County RE-2 website under the “Alumni” tab at Alumni Updates - Park County School District Re-2. Nominations for the 2027 Wall of Fame class will remain open until Tuesday, June 1, 2027.

We are fortunate to have so many deserving graduates whose accomplishments reflect the excellence and pride of South Park High School. I look forward to seeing the Wall of Fame continue to grow in the years ahead.

Please stay tuned for additional information regarding the official recognition ceremony, where we will honor Jesse and Lindsey and unveil their section of the Wall of Fame.
