Medicare Open Enrollment begins October 15!

If you're reviewing your Medicare coverage for 2027, the Medicare Plan Finder is a great place to start. This free tool at Medicare.gov can help you compare plan options available in your area.

Before you begin, have a list of:
✅ Your doctors and other health care providers
✅ Your prescription drugs
✅ Your preferred pharmacies

As you compare plans, look beyond the monthly premium. Consider:
• What you'll pay for health care and prescriptions
• Whether your doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies are in the network
• How your medications are covered
• The plan's Maximum Out-of-Pocket limit, which is the most you'll pay for covered Part A and Part B services during the year

Remember: Medicare plans can change from year to year, so it's important to review your coverage annually, even if you're happy with your current plan.

One of the biggest Medicare decisions is choosing how you'll receive your Medicare-covered benefits. While people often have strong opinions about one option versus the other, the reality is that there isn't a single "best" choice for everyone.

The right coverage depends on your healthcare needs, budget, preferred doctors and hospitals, prescription medications, and what's available where you live.
