The South Park Health Service District is excited to share that the Fairplay pharmacy will break ground in April! More details coming soon about the groundbreaking ceremony. 🪏

Also, the physical therapy & rehabilitation services building is getting closer to being ready to open and resume services. We will provide more info as it gets closer.

As we near the end of a holiday weekend, there is a lot to be thankful for.

- After much anticipation, the SPHSD Board is excited to share that the Fairplay pharmacy construction will begin Spring 2026!

- The physical therapy building in Fairplay is undergoing renovations and improvements and will open no later than Summer 2026.

The South Park Health Service District helps fund health care services through a 1% sales tax in Alma, Como, Fairplay, Hartsel, and Jefferson.

SPHSD's mission is to identify health care needs within our service area and to facilitate acquisition of essential health services that benefit our community. With the South Park region of Park County being designated as a Medically Underserved Population (MUP) and a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA), the South Park Health Service District Board plays a crucial role in identifying and meeting health care needs in our area.

Funded by a 1% sales tax, SPHSD is able to ensure continuity of the Fairplay clinic plus other projects, such as building the Fairplay pharmacy and purchasing then renovating the rehabilitation services building.
