What is LABOR DAY? Besides a day off of work.

Monday's holiday holds a much deeper meaning, rooted in the 19th century fight for fair working conditions. Labor Day was originally designed to honor workers as part of the American organized labor movement.

The Fairport Skippers football team has been carrying this flag honoring Police and Fire for the past 3 years. We have seen a lot of controversy recently from schools around the area that have banned and even suspended players for bringing these flags out. We THANK our players for keeping this tradition alive. THANK YOU also to the coaches, and school administration for allowing this to continue, and backing them 100%!

GREAT JOB FHS!

Members of The Fairport Harbor Professional Firefighters Local 3644 offer our heartfelt sympathy and sincerest condolence to the members of the Cleveland Division of Fire and the family of Lieutenant Richard Petras.
Lieutenant Petras succumbed to the effects of COVID 19. Lieutenant Petras is a gleaming example of the dedication and devotion of firefighters across our Nation who stand watch on the wall in great peril to their own safety.
We pray that the members of the Petras and Cleveland Fire families will receive comfort to know that they don't grieve alone and that the Fairport Harbor Fire Department will forever keep him in our hearts and prayers.
