Last week we proudly sponsored a Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce event at Bonnie & Clyde in the Village of Fairport.

Located in the former Fairport National Bank and Trust Company building, Bonnie & Clyde is a strong example of adaptive reuse in Fairport’s downtown district. The 1924 local landmark has been transformed into a modern restaurant and cocktail bar while preserving key architectural elements of the original bank - including a private chef's table in "The Vault," and a walk-up patio bar in the former drive-through teller window!

With business incentives and support from Fairport OCED, this project helped bring new activity, jobs, and long-term value to an underutilized iconic downtown property.

Now is a great time to take a fresh look at Fairport, a village where historic character and charm, local business momentum, and new investment are creating an increasingly dynamic place to visit, gather, and grow.

Small Business Week is a perfect time to say thank you to the small businesses that help define the Village of Fairport, NY!

Fairport's strong mix of locally owned shops, restaurants, and service providers is a true competitive advantage. These businesses support our local economy, attract residents and visitors, and contribute to the character that makes Fairport unique.

Many of our retail shops are participating in the Fairport Perinton Merchants Association’s Spring Stroll event this Thursday evening, offering store specials, refreshments, and prizes! It's a great time to visit and shop local! 🛍️

🚃 Train Viewing: An underrated pastime? Maybe. A charming way to spend time in Fairport? Absolutely!!

More than 40 trains run through the Village daily on this CSX line. The Train Viewing Platform (and restored 1978 Conrail Caboose!) is just one of the charming things that makes the Village special. We recently mentioned it on 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙. (fairportforward.buzzsprout.com😉)

You can also watch the trains on a live we**am feed! Check it out anytime at www.fairportjunction.com!

Public art can create moments that make you smile and want to come back to a place again. In Fairport, we have several unique and memorable pieces including "Sal" the mule and three tiny mice tucked outside the Fairport Public Library. They’re playful, unexpected, and a reminder that the details of a place matter.

These kinds of artistic touches add personality to the Village, create photo-worthy moments, and help turn a quick visit into time spent exploring local shops, restaurants, and our canalfront.

Hear more about how public art has an economic impact in the latest episode of 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙.
