This Veterans Day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the brave men and women who have dedicated themselves to serving our nation—both here at home and around the world. Their courage, resilience, and sacrifice remind us that the freedoms we enjoy are hard-won and never taken for granted.

In observance of Veterans Day, Perinton Town Hall is closed today, November 11. Please join VFW Post 8495 at 11:00 AM for a Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony at 300 Macedon Center Road, Fairport, NY 14450. Veterans are also welcome to enjoy free access to the Perinton Community Center today.

Let’s stand together to thank our heroes for their service and the enduring impact they’ve made on our community and our nation. 🇺🇸

Thank you to the Egypt Fire Department for hosting their annual Truck or Treat event. It's great to see so many town residents participating, and having fun on a nice fall afternoon.

Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. We truly appreciate everything you do to keep our community safe. We had a great time at the open house today — it was informative, fun, and a wonderful way to connect with the team. Volunteers are always needed at any of our three local fire departments.

I was honored to attend a beam signing ceremony and celebrate a big milestone for the Karpus Family Foundation Learning Center at Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester.

This new space will offer opportunities for learning, connection, and kindness for all, benefiting animals, families, and future generations.

Congratulations to Lollypop Farm, and thank you to the donors and supporters who made this possible – your generosity not only strengthens this vital community resource but also our entire community.

Happy 60th Anniversary to Perinton Ambulance! What a great Open House today! Thanks to the Fairport Lions Club for the hamburgers and hotdogs! There is also cake, popcorn, cotton candy a fun bounce house and even Hal the training simulator!

This afternoon Ciaran Hanna, Perinton Town Supervisor and I attended the Advent House Open House.

The Advent House is a non-profit comfort care home that provides an alternative living arrangement for the terminally ill when they can no longer be cared for in their own homes. Loving care is not only provided to them, but to their families and friends as well.

All of the services are offered free of charge through the generosity and kindness of community, friends and neighbors. The Advent House is grateful for support through donations, memorials, grants and fundraisers.

The Advent House is always in need of volunteers for resident care,
housekeeping, snow removal or at Sweet Charity. Please reach out to Susan Pauly, volunteer coordinator, for more information.
