FFD responded into Egypt Fire Department this morning for a fire in a maintenance building at Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester. The fire was quickly knocked down. Bushnell's Basin Fire Department responded on the initial alarm and East Rochester Fire Department responded on the declaration of a 2nd alarm.

FFD had several members play in the Shootout for Soldiers Canandaigua lacrosse tournament yesterday as part of the Monroe County Fire Lacrosse Team. It was a great day of lacrosse and fundraising.

The East Rochester Fire Department Music Fest begins tonight! Stop down to their Chicken BBQ this evening at their fire station. FFD will be on-site filling in.

Come visit FFD on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in the tent on the carnival grounds and play some games!

FFD responded last evening to East Rochester Fire Department for a fire on the roof of a commercial building. E3414 assisted with truck company tasks on the roof. Units from Brighton Fire Department Pittsford Fire Department and Penfield, NY Fire Company also operated onscene.

The Fairport FD provided the first water station at a little of over 1 mile into the Fleet Feet FireCracker 4 on the 4th of July.

The FFD with the assistance of our RAMs supported 800 runners on this 250th Birthday run.

FFD responded last evening for a car on fire on Parce Avenue. Units arrived to find a car on fire that extended to a 2-story garage and had multiple exposures. The heat index was over 100 degrees during the fire so extra units were called in. Thank you to Penfield, NY Fire Company East Rochester Fire Department Bushnell's Basin Fire Department and Egypt Fire Department for all responding to the scene.

Shortly after the fire a small storm cell came through town and units from the fire along with Webster Volunteer Fire Department handled 6 more incidents in Fairport.

FFD continued a long standing tradition of assisting at the Fairport Central School District Senior Bash last evening. FFD along with Egypt Fire Department and Bushnell's Basin Fire Department give a water salute to all seniors attending the Bash.

FFD was proud to support Fairport Central School District today at Minerva Deland as the last class of students will ever attend there. A unique school to Fairport, this 9th grade only building will now be repurposed and incoming 9th graders will be incorporated into Fairport High School beginning next year.

FFD stayed busy yesterday responding to 5 incidents.

The first notable incident was responding to a MVA on Monroe Wayne CL Rd with Macedon Center Volunteer Fire Department. Crews assisted at the scene and at the request of Macedon Town Ambulance established a landing zone for Mercy Flight Central on Kittering Rd.

At the end of the night, FFD responded into Egypt Fire Department for a working basement fire. FFD crews and Bushnell's Basin Fire Department assisted at the scene and confined the fire to the basement of the town home.
