FFD responded this afternoon to a Pull Box activation in front of our Station 1. We then began receiving multiple calls for a fire behind the fire station. Crews found a multi car garage and multiple vehicles on fire. This caused exposure problems to 2 houses and our fire station. Crews were able to get water on the fire quickly, but our Station 1 did receive some damage along with the other residences.

Later this evening crews responded to Great Wood Ct. for another structure fire with reported people trapped. An AC unit was on fire against the building. Crews were able to extinguish fire before it could spread inside the apartment.

FFD responded this afternoon for an MVA with a person trapped on Macedon Center Rd between Copper Beach and Monroe Wayne CL. Crews arrived and confirmed 1 person trapped who was deceased.

FFD remained onscene with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office - Rochester, NY assisting with scene support and extricating the driver for an additional 3 and a half hours. Perinton Ambulance assisted onscene as well.

FFD was proud to es**rt the Fairport Central School District Boys Basketball Team this afternoon after becoming Section V Champions.

FFD responded last evening for a house fire on Whitney Rd East. Crews arrived to find a house down a 800’ private driveway with fire from all sides. Units were working for over 6 hours before clearing the scene. Unfortunately one person was found deceased and the house was a total loss.

FFD responded this morning for a house on fire on Misty Pine Rd. Units arrived and found a fire extending from the corner of the house into the garage and attic. Units from Bushnell's Basin Fire Department, Egypt Fire Department, and East Rochester Fire Department assisted onscene. The fire was quickly brought under control.
