Please ensure your cars are not parked on the street. Enforcement will be conducted during the storm to insure that plowing can be performed. Thank you.

The Village of Fairport is expecting over 12" of snow between tonight and Friday. Village crews will be working diligently on snow removal operations around the clock. Sidewalks will be cleared when time is permitted. Due to the significant snow banks along the sidewalk currently, sidewalk plows may not be able to push the snow over the banks therefore snow not being able to be removed from the sidewalks completely. We have snow blowers for this, but it will take some time. Please remember to keep your vehicles off the streets overnight in addition to all public parking lots. This will assist you in not having your vehicle plowed in or even your car towed, if required. Also, our crews can more easily navigate streets and parking lots with no vehicles. Enjoy the snow and get the sleds out. Should be a lot of fun!
