Today, May 11, is National School Nurse Day! We are so lucky to have such a wonderful school nurse and health assistant, who help to keep our kids safe and healthy. This has been a huge task these past two years as we have navigated COVID-19. Thank you, Nurse Tram and Ms. Crystal, for everything you do!

¡Hoy, 11 de mayo, es el Día Nacional de la Enfermera Escolar! Somos muy afortunados de tener una enfermera escolar y una asistente de salud tan maravillosas, que ayudan a mantener a nuestros niños seguros y saludables. Esta ha sido una gran tarea en los últimos dos años mientras navegamos por COVID-19. ¡Gracias, Enfermera Tram y Sra. Crystal, por todo lo que hacen!

Today is School Lunch Hero Day! Our nutrition staff work hard to provide breakfasts and lunches for students every day. A BIG THANK YOU to our school lunch heroes at Salish Ponds: Ms. Wendy, Ms. Colleen, and Ms. Deanna!

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2-6, 2022! We want to thank all of the amazing teachers at Salish Ponds for all of their hard work. This year has been a challenge as we welcomed students back to school, and our teachers have worked so hard to welcome students. We hope you can thank a teacher this week and tell them how much you appreciate them!

¡La semana de agradecimiento a los maestros es del 2 al 6 de mayo de 2022! Queremos agradecer a todos los increíbles maestros de Salish Ponds por todo su arduo trabajo. Este año ha sido desafiante ya que dimos la bienvenida a los estudiantes de regreso a la escuela y nuestros maestros han trabajado muy duro para darles la bienvenida. ¡Esperamos que pueda agradecer a un maestro esta semana y decirle cuánto lo aprecia!

April 27 is Administrative Professionals Day! We want to take the time to thank our amazing lead secretary, Darlene Smith, and registrar, Sandra Bearden, for all their amazing work that's supports the Salish Ponds community. Our school wouldn't be the same without them! If you see or speak to one of them, please take the time to thank them for all they do.
