Join us and the WNC Nature Center to explore animals found in our own backyard. Through stories, play and crafts, toddlers will learn how animals grow, move and live. Each visit includes meeting a live special animal ambassador as they discover the world of their animal neighbors.

🎨📖 Ever heard of a crankie?

A crankie is a hand-cranked scrolling theater that transforms illustrated artwork into a moving story—an enchanting, screen-free storytelling tradition that's fun for artists, crafters, and storytellers alike!

Join performing artist Federica Collina to create your own crankie and explore creative storytelling techniques. No experience is necessary, and all materials are provided.
