May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we're spotlighting one of the most powerful coping skills out there: asking for help.
At some point, every single one of us will need to ask for help and get support. The real skill is noticing when — whether that's feeling constantly down, pulling away from people you love, or carrying something that feels too heavy to hold alone.
Reaching out isn't a weakness. It's one of the bravest things you can do, and it's a sign that you believe you deserve better- because you do.
Talk to a parent, coach, teacher, or another adult you trust. And know that 988 (call or text) is always there as a tool for crisis or support.

We finished up hosting our series of three statewide invitational archery contests on April 25 at the fairgrounds in Fairview.

We are so appreciative of the athletes, parents, coaches and others who took the time to come and take part in these.

We were able to present nine total belt buckles as overall awards to the top athlete in each age division of the compound, genesis and recurve divisions. Generous belt buckle sponsors were D&B Oilfield Services and G&J Ag Repair. And, Major County kept three of those buckles in our own county!

A special thanks to the volunteer Major County 4-H Archery coaches.
