ed, and training to improve our skills to reduce the loss of life and property. We shall maintain a welcome relationship with those in our community and surrounding areas. Our organization provides fire, rescue, and EMS services to the residents of not only Fairview Township, but also neighboring municipalities when requested. Our department is active with some type of response, or multiple responses, nearly everyday. For example, in 2021 we ran a total of 1,172 calls over the duration of the year, and this number is expected to grow by the end of 2022. When the department was founded in 1933, the residents of Fairview purchased a Chevy pickup truck that was converted into our very first pumper. Today, we currently possess one BLS ambulance, two engines, one rescue, one tanker, and one QRS/utility vehicle. Station 52, our main station for daily operations, is located at 7190 West Ridge Road.
