πŸ‚ Fall Safety Reminder πŸ‚

As the weather cools down and we spend more time indoors, here are a few quick tips to keep your home and family safe this season:

βœ… Check your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors – replace batteries if needed.
βœ… Have your furnace, chimney, or wood stove inspected before the cold sets in.
βœ… Be cautious with space heaters – keep them at least 3 feet from anything flammable.
βœ… Rake leaves and clear walkways to prevent slips and falls.
βœ… Watch the roads – wet leaves, deer crossings, and earlier sunsets make driving more dangerous this time of year. Slow down and stay alert.

Today is a quiet day of mourning and reflection. On this day, hundreds of heroes made the purely selfless decision to brave certain death to save as many innocent lives as possible.

The sacrifice didn’t end on that day. From that moment forward, for decades, thousands more heroes set out abroad and at home to hunt evil wherever it hid; and thousands never made it home. They willingly accepted the risk of these endeavors to preserve the values of freedom that we hold so dear.

Honor their legacy. Live the life that so many sought to protect. Unite as Americans, first and foremost, under the same banner that draped their caskets.
