The Falcon Heights-Lauderdale Lions Club are holding a Community Bike Drive at Falcon Heights City Hall on Saturday, June 27!

Donations will benefit Express Bike Shop, a non-profit, full-service bike shop that teaches young apprentices how to repair donated bikes and run a small business. It is a social enterprise of Keystone Community Services and reinvests 100% of the proceeds into their youth employment program.

The Community Bike Drive will be held from 10:00am to 1:00pm at 2077 Larpenteur Ave. West Falcon Heights, MN.

Join members of the Falcon Heights City Council and your neighbors to tour an underappreciated community asset: the Goldstein Museum of Design, located on the University of Minnesota - St. Paul Campus!

The Falcon Heights Neighbors Night will be held on June 18 at 5:00 PM, at the Goldstein Museum of Design 241 McNeal - 1985 Buford Ave, Falcon Heights, MN 55126.

The event is free to attend.

Looking to get more involved in the community?

The City currently has one opening on the Parks and Recreation Commission. The Commission advises the City Council on matters related to the operation of the City’s public parks and recreation programs. The commission meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.

Residents interested in serving are encouraged to apply by June 28.

Ramsey County, in collaboration with the City of Roseville, is working to resurface Fairview Avenue between County Road B2 and Larpenteur Avenue.

Fairview Avenue will be closed starting Monday, June 1.

The project will be completed in phases, with portions of the road re-opening before others. All resurfacing is planned to be completed before the start of the Minnesota State Fair in August.
