Another year of summer reading programs in the books. Thanks to all the parents, Board members, presenters and volunteers that made them so much fun!
This week's guest speaker was Angie Thurman from the Rogers Group. Angie brought the kids "hardhats", coloring books, and other goodies. Thanks, Angie!

Thank you Ronald Asherbranner and Carson Haynes With A-1 Hauling and Backhoe Inc. for bringing the Backhoe for kids to see and dig for treasurer in! We had a great day talking and reading about unearthing things! We ended today with SNOW CONES to cool us off!

We had an awesome day at the Summer Reading Program! Thank you Vulcan Materials for sharing fossils that have been found at their Lacon Quarry. The kids had fun unearthing dinosaurs from their eggs. Come join us next Tuesday July 21 at 2pm! We will be digging for treasure that you get to take home!

Always a pleasure to support the Falkville Public Library. The Staff and Board do a fantastic job for young and old alike—being a tremendous community resource for south Morgan County. And the Mayor and Town Council funding of the library is vital to its operations. The library continues to grow and prosper under such dedicated leadership in Falkville and the citizens get the benefit of such a strong institution. Glad to play a small role in helping that success!
