Our final school assembly was a wonderful celebration of the FCES community! 🎉🦅

We were warmly welcomed by our Marimba Club, setting the tone for a joyful gathering, and our opening entrance featured the Fall City Falcon, bringing excitement and school spirit to the stage.

We recognized Safety Patrol, Student Council, and announced the new 2026–2027 Student Council. We also celebrated the accomplishments and participation of Diversity Club, Spanish Club, Choir, Marimba Club, Reading Hall of Fame, and the Fifth Grade Pledge.

We enjoyed staff walk-up songs, including one that was rapped by the amazing Mark Lamprecht, bringing lots of smiles and energy to the room. Our fifth graders also impressed us with an incredible dance choreographed by Ms. Houle. 🎶

We also took time to say goodbye to three staff members who are leaving FCES at the end of the school year. It was a heartfelt tribute to honor their contributions and the lasting impact they’ve made on our students and school community. 💚

At the end of the assembly, our fourth graders had a special milestone moment as they moved up the bleachers into their fifth grade seats, marking an exciting step into their leadership year ahead.

It truly was a fabulous final school assembly, full of celebration, pride, and Falcon spirit. 🦅✨

📚✨ Mrs. Shepherd's Library Makerspace Grant ✨📚

The FCES Library received an exciting boost to its learning resources thanks to a generous grant from the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation.

The Library Makerspace Centers Magic grant helped develop and expand makerspace centers within the FCES library, creating accessible, hands-on learning environments for all students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Since taking over the library this year, Mrs. Shepherd introduced makerspace centers that students visited following their library lessons, featuring art, engineering, and social-emotional learning extension activities.

With the support of this grant, the library added resources such as a sewing machine, yarn kits, magnetic blocks, and illustrator kit supplies. These engaging centers fostered creativity, innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving while helping students build practical skills and explore the creative side of learning.

📸 Take a look at our students engaged and learning!

This opportunity was made possible through funding from the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation. Visit our SVSF webpage to learn more: https://www.svsd410.org/community/snoqualmie-valley-schools-foundation.

Field Day Fun at FCES!

Our Falcons had an absolute blast at Field Day today! 🎉 The playground was buzzing with excitement as students took part in sack races, football toss, ring toss, splash tower fun, and so much more. 💦 From yummy snacks to smiles all around, the day was packed with joy and unforgettable moments.

A huge thank you to the Fall City Elementary PTSA, all our incredible parent volunteers, and the one and only Sue Frederick, our excellent PE teacher, for the countless hours of preparation behind the scenes. 👏 And of course, thanks to the entire FCES staff for helping make the day run smoothly. 🙌

It was the perfect way to wrap up a fabulous school year—full of laughter, movement, and Falcon pride. 🦅🖤💚

What an amazing day at school! The Family BBQ Lunch was a huge hit—filled with laughter, sunshine, and the mouthwatering aroma of grilled cheeseburgers. A heartfelt thank you to all the families who came out to join us and made lunchtime extra special!

With over 333 cheeseburgers served, our Falcons definitely brought their appetites and their school spirit. It was such a joy to see students enjoying a meal with loved ones, sharing smiles, and making lasting memories together.

Big thanks to our fantastic kitchen crew and staff for their hard work and to everyone who helped create such a warm and welcoming event. We’re so lucky to have a community that loves to come together and celebrate! 💚🦅🍽️

SMART Tags are an excellent tool for parents to monitor when their student boards and exits the bus and track any delays. We use this system to keep track of all of our students' loading/unloading and bus locations. It's an excellent tool for ensuring everyone is on the right bus and using the correct stop.

Please remind your students to keep their Smart Tags in a safe place over the summer so they are ready to go when school starts again.

Nobody does a parade like Fall City Elementary—and today proved it once again! 🎉

This afternoon, our fabulous fifth graders gathered at 2 p.m. to get their parade vehicles ready, decked out in true FCES fashion. At 3 p.m. sharp, the Fall City Fire Department led the way, sirens blaring, horns honking and smiles beaming! 🚒🔥

A massive shoutout to Mark Lamprecht for bringing the energy and joy as our parade announcer—thank you for helping make this such a special moment.

What a wonderful way to celebrate and honor our amazing fifth graders as they prepare for middle school. We’re so proud of you! 💚🎓

✨ CKMS Leadership Class Visits FCES ✨

Our FCES fifth grade students got a visit last week from CKMS Leadership students. Each CKMS student created a children’s book about a famous leader, sharing inspiring stories and highlighting core values that guide their own lives. 📚

Students connected with one another to share ideas about leadership, service, and character. It was a great opportunity to build community across schools!
