If you love classic children's books, you'll be excited to see the newest additions to our collection!

Many of these timeless favorites are Caldecott Award winners that have delighted generations of young readers. In fact, parents may remember reading some of these very same books when they were children.

Last year, the Fall Creek Public Library was honored to receive a $10,000 grant from the American Library Association through its Libraries Transforming Communities initiative.

Our goal with this grant was to create a more sensory-friendly environment in our new library and expand our collection to better serve patrons with learning disabilities and diverse accessibility needs.

Thanks to this funding, our new Children's Area will feature a cozy reading nook, a LEGO wall, a variety of seating options, and even a relaxing swing designed to meet different comfort and sensory preferences and more. We were also able to add a collection of Wonderbooks—books with built-in audio players that help make reading more accessible and engaging for all learners.

We are incredibly grateful to the American Library Association for helping us expand our offerings and deepen our understanding of accessibility. This grant has helped us move one step closer to our vision of creating a library that truly welcomes and serves everyone in our community.

Volunteer help is in full swing here at the Fall Creek Public Library!

Fall Creek — you have truly stepped up! We love seeing volunteers and staff working together and so many helping hands throughout the library.

This past week, volunteers and staff have been busy replacing old and faded spine labels on books. These updates help our collections look more cohesive and consistent, and clearer labels make it easier (and quicker!) for both staff and patrons to find what they’re looking for.

It’s not too late to join in! If you’d like to be added to our volunteer email list, please comment, message us, or stop in and you’ll receive weekly updates about what’s happening at the library along with a sign-up link you can use when it fits your schedule. There will be opportunities for all ages to help out!

The Library & Village Center is really coming together beautifully! Ceilings are going in, with flooring, cabinets, and millwork up next—and we’re right on track for an early Fall opening.

We cannot wait to welcome the community into this multifunctional, spacious, and thoughtfully designed building. The new library and village center is going to have an incredible impact on our community—there truly is something for everyone here!

We had a blast at the Fall Creek Fun Fest Parade last weekend!

Our theme this year was “Lady Liberty Reads… and you should too!” and we loved sharing our message of freedom, knowledge, and the joy of reading with our community. From waving to neighbors to celebrating all things books and liberty, it was a perfect day at Fun Fest.

We're in the final stretch of our Savers Fundrive, and we need your help to fill the trailer!

Have gently used clothing, household items, books, toys, or other reusable goods? Donate them and help support the Fall Creek Public Library. The trailer is getting full, but we'd love to pack it as tightly as possible before pickup.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our book sale last weekend! Thanks to your support, we raised an incredible $1,395.21 for the Fall Creek Public Library.

This event would not have been possible without the many community members who donated books throughout the year. We are also so grateful to the Friends of the Library and the many volunteers who helped set up, organize, work the sale, and pack everything up afterward. Your time and effort made all the difference!

And here's some exciting news... our new library will include a dedicated Book Sale Room! That means more space to browse, more opportunities to find great reads, and more ways to support your library throughout the year.

Thank you for helping us turn donated books into resources that benefit our entire community. We can't wait to welcome you into the new space!

Just a reminder — our Savers FunDrive is happening now until June 19th!

Have leftover items from a recent thrift sale? Cleaning out closets, basements, or garages? Been meaning to haul that donation pile to Eau Claire but haven't gotten around to it? We've got an easier option!

Donations can be dropped off right here in Fall Creek at our collection site in the Village Hall. Your gently used clothing, household items, books, toys, and more can help make a difference.

Every donation helps support the Fall Creek Public Library and our programs, services, and future growth. Thank you for supporting your library while giving your unwanted items a second life!

Summer Reading is Underway at the Fall Creek Public Library!

Missed our Summer Reading Kickoff? No worries—it's not too late to join the fun! Stop by the library to pick up your reading bag and challenge materials.

We have THREE Summer Reading Programs this year:

Kids Program
• Receive a summer reading bag
• Mark off every 15 minutes you read
• Complete a full reading sheet and earn a $5 Book Buck
• Stop in each week to complete a library challenge and earn even more Book Bucks
• Collect Book Bucks all summer long
• On July 31 & August 1, visit our Summer Reading Store and spend your Book Bucks on fun prizes!

Teen Program
• Read books all summer long
• Each completed book (up to 8 books) earns an entry into a raffle
• Win a gift card to Scheels, Target, or Weavers

Adult Program
• Read books all summer long
• Each completed book (up to 8 books) earns an entry into a raffle for a Scheels, Target, or Weavers gift card
