A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteer crew who spent time yesterday helping us pack up a whole lot of the library collection! 📚📦 We’re missing a few helpers from this picture, but this crew is just one small glimpse of the community support we’ve been so lucky to have throughout this big move.

I’m (Rachel, Library Director) Fall Creek born and raised, so part of me isn’t surprised that our community has shown up for us. But at the same time… it still blows me away. ❤️

This small town never fails to amaze me. We are so lucky to have people who are willing to give their time, lend a hand, and help make this next chapter of our library possible.

Thank you, Fall Creek! We couldn’t do it without you. 🥹

🚨 IT’S REALLY HAPPENING! 🚨

We’re open tomorrow and Friday, so come stock up! The more you check out now, the less we have to move!

Saturday, August 29: We’ll be open 9 AM–12 PM, but we’ll be getting started on packing. We’ll be open primarily for patrons to grab items from the hold shelf.

Monday, August 31: WE ARE CLOSED.
We’ll be closed all week as we focus on packing, moving, and getting our new library ready for you!

Tuesday, September 8: We plan to be open for hold pickups only, but we’ll provide an update around September 4 with more information.

Monday, September 14: Our goal is to officially open the doors of the NEW Fall Creek Public Library & Village Center! We’re keeping our fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly!

📚IMPORTANT BOOK DROP REMINDER: Please continue using the old library exterior book drop until we give you the go-ahead to use the new library book drop.

Wow, Fall Creek—you sure kept us busy this summer! 💚

This picture shows just one delivery of six totes of books from other libraries in our system. We get three deliveries a week. And believe it or not, this was a pretty normal delivery for us all summer long!

We love seeing our patrons take advantage of the MORE system and place holds on the materials they want. It means more books in the hands of the community we love! 📖

Check out some of our new furniture! These finishing touches are making the new library really feel like our space, and we couldn’t be more excited.

The big move is finally here! After years of planning and dreaming, we are getting ready to move into our new Fall Creek Public Library & Village Center, and we need your help to make it happen!

We are looking for volunteers to help with packing, moving, and unpacking. There will be a variety of jobs available, so whether you love organizing books, lifting boxes, putting things away, or simply want to lend a helping hand, there is a job for you!

We are thrilled to finally release a timeline for our BIG MOVE coming up at the end of the month!

Things are moving along well, and we’re getting closer and closer to opening the doors of our new library! While this timeline is subject to change if we run into any hiccups along the way, we’re excited about the progress and everything that’s happening behind the scenes.

We’ll soon be sending out sign-up links for anyone who is willing to help us pack, move, or unpack. If you’d like to lend a hand, let us know and we’ll make sure you receive the sign-up link when it’s ready!
