Eat close. Feel good. Repeat for 21 days.

The Marion Institute’s Southcoast Food Policy Council invites you to join the 2026 Eat Local Challenge: A free 21-day journey designed to help people eat healthier, support local food producers, and build a deeper connection to our regional food system.

The challenge is simple and approachable. For 21 days, participants are encouraged to source, cook with, and eat foods grown, caught, or made within 200 miles of them, while making small, meaningful shifts in how they shop, cook, and eat.

Once registered, participants will receive one email each day for 21 days featuring:
• Tips for sourcing local food and making it last
• Seasonal recipes
• Food facts and nutrition insights
• Simple, practical inspiration for everyday meals
• And more

Whether you’re new to eating local or already passionate about supporting regional food systems, this challenge is designed to be educational, inspiring, and realistic for everyday life.
