As the Vex 2017/2018 games come to an end with Vex Worlds this weekend, I’d like to say a few things about our team, 7299. The teams 7299A-E are teams filled to the brim with ideas, talent, and passion. The teams have travelled to many schools to compete in the challenge “In the Zone” where they faced some tough opponents. Our team has won the excellence award and one of our members from 7299C Andrew Elfman has gone far into the science fair with his bot, the A-17. There were teams that have gone above and beyond what was asked of them, staying late countless of hours and days to prepare for the competition. The team C7299B has gone to nationals in the Create division, and was elected for the excellence award. I would like to congratulate the team on their outstanding performance this year, and wish them luck for next year. Go SET Robotics 7299!
